The Pella Rolscreen Foundation recognized ten employees working for Pella Corporation with the Joan Kuyper Farver Spirit Award at a ceremony Wednesday.
The following individuals were nominated, and received a $2,500 to support the non-profit organization of their choosing:

Jo Davis, Murray, KY, Life House Pregnancy Care Center
Jaime Edwards, Murray, KY, Calloway County 4H
Steve Alexander, Sioux Center, Sioux County Conservation Foundation
Dave Leraas, Sioux Center, LeMars Little League
Marj Schierkolk of Shenandoah won the $25,000 award and is the second recipient of the Joan Kuyper Farver Spirit Award, which she was awarded for exceptional volunteerism and selfless commitment to community. Michele Waber with the Pella Rolscreen Foundation says recognizing the legacy of Farver through today’s employees speaks to the value of community service and giving back. Each year going forward, ten individuals will continue to be nominated by fellow Pella Corporation employees.
