The Warren County Leadership Class of 2019 graduated Wednesday evening, after completing 10 separate courses and a bus tour around the county. Simpson College President Jay Simmons was the guest speaker at the graduation, and tells KNIA News he is excited to see what this class can do to better the community over the next several years.
“When you look a the persons, communities, and organizations this class represents, they are from all over Warren County. It’s great to see the impact these individuals are going to have over Warren County over the next several years. I say that because when you look at the list of graduates that have come through the program and what they have done,I think all of us here can feel great about what these individuals are going to do in the next several months and the years ahead.”
The Warren County Leadership Institute has been training and informing leaders of the community since 1993.
