Resting most of the team due to injury and illness, the Knoxville Girls Track and Field Squad finished tenth at the Carlisle Girls Invitational on Thursday. Assistant Coach Michael Splavec told KRLS Sports they are going to take a full week to get healthy and prepare for the conference meet on Thursday in Chariton. Meanwhile, PCM was seventh with several top finishers including Margo Chipps first and Morgan Uhlenhopp third in the 400 hurdles. The Mustangs were third in the 4×200 and 800 sprint medley relay. PCM’s girls 4×100 team will run at the Drake Relays on Saturday.
