A Pleasantville man has received a 12-year suspended prison sentence, after pleading guilty to a drug-related charge and a count of child endangerment.
59-year-old David Iddings entered into the plea agreement on April 18th; he will instead serve three years probation. He was originally charged with manufacture, delivery or possession with intent to deliver meth, as well as possession of a firearm as a felon.
A juvenile was living with Iddings at the time of his arrest, and evidence of meth usage was reportedly found in his residence; so an aggravated misdemeanor count of child endangerment was added.
Iddings pleaded guilty to a Class C felony count of possession with intent to deliver meth, as well as the child endangerment charge.
The sentence for those counts would run ten years and two years respectively; if Iddings violates his probation and the sentence is imposed, they would be served consecutively.
