A few rounds of rain could cause localized flooding this week. According to the National Weather Service, rain is expected late tonight through Monday morning, and again most of the day Tuesday through Wednesday morning. Widespread amounts between 1.5″ to 3″ are possible in Marion and Warren Counties by Wednesday morning, with heavier amounts expected the further one goes southeast. As of now, the long term forecast indicates slight chances for showers Wednesday and early Thursday, but conditions should clear up for the 84th annual Tulip Time in Pella. Daytime highs should climb back into the low to mid 60s during the three days. Stay tuned to KNIA/KRLS for the latest weather information.
