The Knoxville Little League planned on having a fun-filled Opening Day on Saturday, but the weather balked.

But this won’t stop the league from having a celebration for its teams; so instead the Opening Day celebration has been rescheduled to June.

It will take place on Friday, June 14th from 5;00 to 8:00 p.m. at Marion County Park; the name, format and schedule of events have yet to be determined, but it may include some of the elements originally planned for Saturday.
