The Melcher-Dallas Track and Field Squads will have to wait until Monday for the Bluegrass Conference Meet as weather caused the meet on Tuesday to be called off in Lamoni. The Saints are also looking to the state qualifier later in May. Several guys and girls have a shot at making the Blue Oval at Drake Stadium for the State Meet. On the boys side, Ethan Harrington is seeded second in the high jump. The Saints have a couple of relays that are contenders as well with their 4×800 seeded third and the Saints 1600 medley relay in fourth place. On the girls side J’Lyn Knutson is the clear leader in both of the distance races. Grace Overgaard is in the top three in both the shot put and discus, and the Saints 1600 medley relay is current ranked fifth.
