Those who take in the Lighted Volks Parade tonight will receive a special finale. Fireworks are planned to be fired at the conclusion, provided by Pella Corporation. Cyndi Atkins with the Tulip Time Steering Committee encourages everyone attending the parade to stay downtown after the final floats pass by, and turn their attention to the southwest skies, as the fireworks will be launched from Central College. Prior to the evening parade, Paul Jones with the Steering Committee says tonight’s entertainment is local — Pella’s City Band.
