The PCM Boys Soccer Squad split a couple of matches at a triangular hosted by Des Moines Christian. The Mustangs played the host Lions in the first match and played to scoreless draw after regular and two overtimes. The match went to shootout where the Mustangs beat the Lions 4-3 on penalty kicks. PCM lost a hard fought 2-1 contest to Dallas Center-Grimes in the second match. Nick Dredge got the goal while Jason Stafford was credited with the assist. The Mustangs are 7-4 on the season and will travel to Albia on Monday.

The PCM Girls Golf Squad finished 5th at the Newton Invitational on Friday. The Mustangs tied Colfax-Mingo at 198 but lost a card off with the 6th golfer for the place. Leading the way for PCM was Mackenzie Bussan and Brooke Dross both shooting 47s. Dross’s 47 was a personal best for her.
