The Knoxville Girls Soccer Squad journeyed out to Creston on Saturday and came home with a nice shiny trophy winning the Creston Invitational by scores of 5-0 over Greene County and 1-0 over the hosts. Emma DeJoode had a monster day with four goals in the first match and added another in the championship match to total five for the afternoon. DeJoode has 17 goals on the season, which puts her in a tie for eighth in class 1A and a tie for 16th in the state regardless of class. The Panthers are also on an eight match winning streak where they have shut out five of their opponents and have outscored the opposition 24-3. Knoxville travels to Clarke on Monday.
