Melcher-Dallas will head to Lamoni for the Bluegrass Conference Track and Field Meet tonight. Last week’s meet was postponed due to weather and tonight does not look great for track and field either. The Saints boys, while not contending for the team title this season will try to go for individual glory. Coach Bart Elliott tells KNIA Sports while it is frustrating to leave some events empty, he thinks his guys can bring a lot of place medals home. Melcher-Dallas has just 11 guys out for track and field this season, but have done well in several individual events.
