The third annual IYP Putt Putt and Pints Classic took place on the downtown Indianola square Saturday afternoon, raising money for “Feeding Indianola’s Kids”, a charity that provides a hot lunch for students who don’t qualify for financial assistance but don’t have enough money in their lunch account. Organizer Nick Carda tells KNIA News over 300 people participated officially, with over 350 people joining in to walk around the square. Carda also said that numbers on how much was raised this year is not yet official, but last year raised over $9,300, and this year IYP is hoping to top $10,000.
