The Melcher-Dallas Girls Track and Field Squad finished fourth at the Bluegrass Conference Track and Field Meet on Monday. Everyone had to wait out a lightning delay in the middle of the meet. The Saints were able to mine several medals and a few gold. Grace Overgaard won the discus, while J’Lyn Knutson breezed to the 1500 in a time of 5:11 and the 3000 in a time of 10:58.08, both conference meet records. Also winning gold was the distance medley relay team. The boys also placed fourth with several medals on their end of things. First places went to Emery Sage in the 1600, Ethan Harrington in the 800, and the Saints also took home gold in the 4×800 relay with a season best time of 8:53 laid down by Ryan Krpan, Steven Krpan, Sage and Harrington.
