Two hat tricks meant a lot of goals by the Knoxville Girls Soccer Squad, who kept their winning ways Thursday night as the Panthers mercy-ruled their second straight opponent, this time Centerville 10-0. Emma DeJoode for the second straight match scored five goals and had one assist, which puts DeJoode at 27 goals on the season. The other hat trick for the Panthers was courtesy of Marley McKay, who also added two assists for good measure. Jolyn Beaver had the other two tallies for Knoxville plus an assist. Kelsey Ryan, Amber VanderVeer and Charlee Heffron also dealt out assists. Knoxville is now 11-3 on the season and are off until next Thursday when they host Chariton. The Panthers also learned their postseason road, and it will consist of long road trips as Knoxville will travel to Williamsburg on May 28th, then a likely match up with number eight Nevada in the semi-final.
