The City of Indianola is holding an open house meeting tonight, allowing the public to view the preliminary downtown streetscape plan. Among the changes being considered to the downtown square area include a change from one-way streets to two-way, parallel parking or angled parking, and the trees or plants planted around the square among other items. Community and Economic Development Director Charlie Dissell tells KNIA News the most important part of this project is to get the public input and feedback, which is what tonight will help provide. The open house will be at the Sagewood Event and Meeting Venue, at 117 E Salem Avenue, on May 15th from 7-8:30pm.
