The Indianola Community Youth Foundation has a new Executive Director, but plans on continuing their mission to serve the youth of the community. New Executive Director Taylor Nehring tells KNIA News Indianola is home, so taking this job opportunity was a perfect match.

“I grew up in Indianola, graduated from Indianola High School, went to Simpson College, I just love being in my hometown. I really am prideful about that, so when I saw this job open up I saw that it would be a good chance to give back to the community and make an impact on children.”

Nehring also said that ICYF will continue to run its open gyms and interact with kids, and put a big focus on the Eat Well, Play Well program, a mission to promote healthy eating habits and good character.
