Melcher-Dallas Distance Runner J’Lyn Knutson came back from her second trip to the State Track and Field with a medal as she placed sixth in the 1500 meter run on Saturday. Knutson’s time of 5:01.77, which was her season best by eight seconds. Also running on the Blue Oval for the Saints was Emery Sage in the 1600. He placed 23rd with a time of 4:51.49 in a tightly packed race.
