Central College men’s track and field associate head coach Jim Fuller was named the Central Region’s assistant coach of the year as part of the USTFCCCA regional honors Tuesday. Previously, Fuller was the regional and national assistant coach of the year for the 2018 men’s indoor campaign. Fuller spearheads the combined events, vertical jumps and hurdles athletes at Central College. Will Daniels is seeded No. 1 in the country for the decathlon leading into the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships this weekend in Geneva, Ohio. High jumper Drake Lewis qualified 11th nationally in the high jump. Daniels also qualified in the high jump but declined in order to focus on the decathlon.
