With the warmer temperatures and extra precipitation of spring, the City of Indianola wants to remind residents of city code pertaining to grass, brush, and weeds on lawns. City code states that all dense growth of weeds, vines, brush, or other vegetation institutes a health and fire safety hazard, and code mandates grass growth can be no higher than six inches in height unless determined by the City Council to be a planned and maintained prairie stand.
