The Pleasantville Softball Squad breezed by Panorama in a double header on Thursday by scores of 11-1 and 13-3, both games ended in the fifth inning due to the run rule. In game one Amber McKinney had the big bat as she ripped two doubles and had six RBI while Mackenzie McGriff had four hits. Abby DeJoode got the win allowing just three hits and striking out four. The nightcap was just as easy for the Trojans as Mallory McKinney swatted the home run and Faith Vanderhart did the rest in the circle allowing three hits and striking out five. Pleasantville is 3-0 on the season. The Baseball Trojans split their double dip with Panorama winning the first game 6-5 with Quentin Berglund getting the win and losing the second game 4-0. Grant Fouch pitched five strong innings but according to Coach Sheldon Card could not get any run support. Pleasantville is 1-3 on the season and are off until Tuesday.
