While the season did not get off to a good start for the Melcher-Dallas Softball Squad, the Saints still have a chance to make it a great season. One thing the Saints are looking for this season is a Bluegrass Conference championship. Coach Jim Crozier tells KNIA Sports winning the conference should be an obvious goal, and now that everyone plays through the conference twice, it will mean even more to win it. The Saints game with Moravia was called off due to rain and will be made up on June 14th along with the baseball game against the MoHawks.
