The historic village at Marion County Park is hosting Pioneer Days on Friday, June 7th and Saturday, June 8th.

The Marion County Historical Society operates the village, a collection of historic buildings from around the county which are preserved and presented in their original condition.

This weekend begins Friday night with Movie Under the Stars, with a feature beginning at dusk.

Then on Saturday, all buildings will be open for viewing; there will be live entertainment in the school house, and demonstrations on site.

A pancake breakfast courtesy of the Lions Club will be served from 7:00 to 10:00 a.m. and lunch will be available from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

All buildings will be open until 5:00 p.m.
