After months of rehab work on the former Events Center in downtown Knoxville, The Well is up and running…and ready to show off its new thrift store and ministry center to the public.

An official ribbon cutting with the Knoxville Chamber of Commerce is scheduled to be held tomorrow afternoon at 3:00 p.m.

Larissa Van Donselaar with The Well tells KNIA/KRLS News they will also give the general public a look at what they’ve done so far.

“We’re inviting folks to come in; it’s an open house, we’ll have light refreshments…the ribbon cutting will be at 3:00, but we’ll be open that day and just invite people to come in and see the space and meet us,” Van Donselaar says.

The building has come a long way from where it was when The Well first acquired it; the interior has been fully remodeled, with a thrift store laid out much like a retail clothing store…and a ministry center inside what was once a laundromat, but now designed to look and feel more like a modern, professional office.
