Reading logs are now available for children of all ages wanting to participate in the Summer Reading Program at the Pella Public Library. Youth Services Librarian Katie Dreyer says prizes will be given out to participants from infants to teenagers for completing daily reading goals, from parents reading to their babies to teenagers reading at least 15 minutes daily for two weeks straight. In addition to the reading logs, Dreyer says the Pella Public Library is hosting a wide range of weekly activities and special programs throughout the summer months. Logs are available at the main desk of the library, and a schedule of activities can be found here: http://cityofpella.com/index.aspx?NID=224
