Several individuals from Pella are competing in state tournaments this week. Pella girls golfer Halie Veenstra is competing in the Class 3A girls golf tournament today and tomorrow at Otter Creek in Ankeny. The doubles duo of Morgan Bush and Lizzy Posthuma and Pella’s Brooke Jorgensen will both compete in the individual state tennis tournament Wednesday and Thursday in Iowa City.
