The Pella Jazz Band celebrated another year of successful music Tuesday night. While rain pushed them into the confines of Pella High School instead of the Tulip Toren, Pella Jazz I played a full set to parents and friends of the program. Pella won the school’s 18th state championship this spring, and had four musicians: Isaac Piersma, Annaleigh Babcock, Troy Miller, and Levi Dugger, all earn All-State Honors. According to Director Dameon Place, the final performance Tuesday was a project driven by the students.
