Students from throughout the Pella Community School District participated in the state Special Olympics competition in Ames. Representatives from Jefferson Intermediate, Pella Middle School, and Pella High School were among the participants. Pella Middle School students held a special send off to their classmates last week, according to Principal Josh Manning. Results will be available later this week.
