It was a wild and event filled night at the baseball field on Panther Drive. Knoxville was able to break through and get its first win of the season beating Albia in the nightcap of a double header 3-2, after falling in a score fest in game one 16-13. The Panther offense was on fire as Ben Olsen had two hits, both home runs and collected a total of six RBI, Mike Hudson went 4/4 and three RBI. Carter Bailey took the loss going 2 2/3 innings striking out three. The second game was more like as baseball game as the Panthers rolled out Kaleb Streigle and he controlled the game going the distance allowing just for hits, fanning 11 Demon batters and issuing only two walks. Kyle Ramsey went 2/3 for the Panthers, who are now 1-6 and 1-3 in the South Central Conference. Knoxville travels to Clarke on Monday.
