Multiple state qualifiers from the Pella track and field team will compete one last time as high school athletes among the best in Iowa today. Pella’s Nick DeJong, Jordan Buma, Metsje Miller, and Evie Armstrong are all participating in the Iowa Track Coaches Association Senior All-Star meet. DeJong was a state champion in the shot put and Buma ran in the hurdles at the blue oval in several events. Miller and Armstrong also had numerous events in the sprints this year. They will compete in Iowa City for the south teams.
