The Pleasantville Softball Squad dropped both games in the Hawkeye Classic in Iowa City on Friday to class 5A #15 Muscatine 13-6 and class 5A number six Pleasant Valley 10-2. In game one against Muscatine, the trojans actually were leading after one inning of work and tied at four after three. Abbey DeJoode took the loss in game one striking out two and walking one. In game two against Pleasant Valley, the Trojans committed costly errors in the fourth and fifth innings. Faith Vanderhart took the loss striking out two. The Trojans play at BlueJay Invitational against Alburnett and Green County today.
