Demolition of the Warren County Courthouse began Wednesday morning, after preparations have been ongoing since May 1st. Backhoe excavators began tearing down the western side of the courthouse, with the rest coming down by the afternoon. DW Zinser Company out of Walford, Iowa is in charge of the project, with the construction of the new Warren County Justice Center beginning after demolition is complete.
