The Knoxville Police Department is reminding residents to keep their vehicles locked and valuables secure following several vehicle break-ins this past weekend. Chief Dan Losada tells KNIA/KRLS News keeping your valuables safe always starts with locking your doors and if you have to keep valuable items in your car to always make sure they are hidden. Chief Losada says most of the items taken recently were small hand held items that are perfect for a criminal on the move.
