The Warren County Board of Supervisors met in special and regular session Tuesday morning. In special session, the board considered the vacant HR Director position, and gave county staff direction on filling it. Previously, the county and the City of Norwalk shared a position, however the city wanted to break away from that arrangement. The board also held a performance review of County Engineer David Carroll in closed session. In regular session,The board held public hearings on the rezoning of 62 acres of land on Highway 92 near Ackworth from agricultural to residential, and a zoning ordinance, with no official action taken on either item. The board approved a five year law enforcement agreement with the City of Martensdale, and changed the speed limit to 35mph on Coolidge Road from Highway R57 to the city limits of Norwalk.
