The Indianola FFA program has seen a lot of success over the past year, not only with raising money through different events, at district and state competitions, but with the growth of the program getting more kids interested in agriculture. Indianola FFA Chapter Vice President Brayden Beinhart tells KNIA News the growth of the program is great, but the growth will need to be matched by the administration.

“We have classes that are available every semester from your freshman to senior years, but those classes are getting fuller because we have more members getting involved and wanting to learn about ag. So we kind of want and need a second ag teacher to help expand our program and expand the ag program, not just for FFA members. Just for example, there was an animal science class that had to start turning kids away because there wasn’t enough teachers to allow everyone to get in. Everyone can learn something about ag.”
