Several Pella Middle School students were honored for their character this year. Student Council Members Stephen Gaul and Jackson VanKley recognized 7th graders who have shown excellent character and leadership this year, including Levi Hansen, Nathan VanderWaal, Jack Conrad, Alexa Klein, Mollie Renaud, and Grace VanderBeek. Jack Conrad was also nominated for the Drake Character Institute Award. Eighth Grade Character and leadership awards were also presented to Aleigha Ausman, Taylor Tousey, Maddie Schmitz, Camden Holland, Isaac Boualavong, and Jacob Rietveld from the Student Council. Klein says she feels it’s important to show positive character and help others in the community.
