In just over a week the Pleasantville American Legion Post 108 and the Pleasantville Auxiliary 108 will be hosting their 100 years of service celebration. Craig Metcalf with the Legion tells KNIA/KRLS News  the celebration will include a veterans photo memorial, military displays, free cake and homemade ice cream as well as door prizes. Metcalf says he believes it will be a great time for anyone who wants to stop out especially if they have a connection to the military. The celebration will be held Saturday, June 15th from 1 to 4 pm at the Memorial building located at 101 N. Jefferson in Pleasantville.
