The Knoxville Baseball Squad ran into a buzzsaw against Davis County Friday night falling 2-0 and only mustering two hits for the game those by Mike Hudson and Carter Bailey. Hudson also took the tough luck loss going six innings with four strikeouts and three walks. Coach Matt Miller told KRLS Sports, they just could not get the bats going against a dominate Davis County pitcher. Miller did credit Hudson for his effort on the mound keeping Knoxville in the game and giving the Panthers a chance in the seventh. Knoxville heads to the Carlisle Invitational today. The Panthers play the host Wildcats at ten, and then play Sergeant Bluff in the second game.
