Vocational Bible Students from Celebrate Community Church have recently made a major impact for the citizens of Uganda. According to Pastor Samuel Kawalya with Bethel Community Outreach Ministries in Uganda. Last year the Vocational Bible Students raised over $12,000 to help Pastor Kawalya’s Ministries install three new wells throughout Uganda to help the citizens receive fresh clean water on a daily basis, something that is rarely seen in Uganda. Pastor Kawalya tells KNIA/KRLS News the wells that were installed are only supposed to be used during the day so the springs can refresh overnight, but the citizens are in such need of fresh water they continue to use the wells throughout the night as well. The citizens were so happy with the installation of the new wells the presented the representatives of Celebrate Community Church with Matoke a traditional Ugandan similar to a banana and a live chicken, a gesture commonly reserved for royalty.
