Three Pella boys golfers, who competed on the 6th place team in 3A and No. 3 ranked team in the class, earned postseason honors from the Iowa HIgh School Golf Coaches Association. Luke Galeazzi was a first-team All-State honoree, with a shooting average of 39.46. John Oltman earned both 2nd team recognition on the All-State and All-Tournament team — Oltman averaged 39.98 per nine holes, and carded a 75 at the rain-shortened state tournament. Will Simpson was a 2nd team all-state honoree as well — with an average of 40.07. All three, as well as 2018 first-team All-State Golfer Trey Wood, will return in 2020.
