Simpson College is hosting a free jazz concert this evening, the first of four available to the public this week, coinciding with the largest jazz camp in the state. Simpson College faculty and guest instructors will perform different aspects and styles of jazz relating to what many of the camp-goers learned at camp the day of the concert, such as music theory, jazz combos, or improvisation. The concert tonight is in the Great Hall at Simpson College at 7pm, with concerts tomorrow, Tuesday, and Thursday.
