Big bats closed out a week of great baseball for Pella Christian, as they dominated Newton 14-4 and 12-1 in a pair of five inning, mercy-rule games Friday night.

The Eagles combined for 11 extra base hits in the two contests, including home runs from Cole Webster, Devin Havemen, and Will Dembski. All Eagles in the lineups combined to have multiple hits over both games as well. Devin Haveman earned the win in game one, settling in after a tough first inning, and Jack Anderson only needed 58 pitches in a one-hit effort in game two.

Pella Christian improves to 8-6, and travels to Oskaloosa.
