Indianola Parks and Rec hosted the first annual Be A Hero Pool Party Friday evening, with local first responders, veterans, and healthcare personnel joining local children at Veteran’s Memorial Aquatic Center. Local agencies, the Indianola Fire Department, Indianola Police Department, and Warren County Sheriff’s Office, attended and showed off their equipment, and were joined by a Unity LifeFlight Helicopter and the Iowa League of Heroes.
