In just over a week the Knoxville Public Library will host the Apron Lady, Sheila Craig, as she presents her interactive program, “Remembering the Apron,” as part of the library’s Lifelong Learning Series. The program will be held Monday, June 24th from 1:30 to 3 pm at the library’s temporary location at the old East Elementary building. Heather Libby with the library tells KNIA/KRLS News Craig will be bringing close to 100 vintage aprons with her and the program is very hands-on and interactive. Libby says with the county fair coming up, this program would be perfect for any 4H student interested in a sewing project. Everyone is welcome to attend the program and no registration is necessary.
