The Pleasantville American Legion Post 108 and the Pleasantville Auxiliary 108 will celebrate 100 years of service to the community today. The celebration will include a veteran’s photo memorial, military displays, free cake and homemade ice cream as well as door prizes. The celebration is also a chance for the post to highlight the number of people in the Pleasantville area who served their country in the past 100 years. The 100 year celebration will be held at the Memorial building located at 101 N. Jefferson in Pleasantville from 1pm to 4 pm.
