The 17th annual KNIA/KRLS Golf Classic featured dozens of players at Bos Landen in Pella Tuesday. Participants played 18 holes in a best shot tournament, in part, to collect donations for area food shelves. Pella, Knoxville, and Chariton Hy-Vee will donate food, and the Pella Pizza Ranch, Tulip City Agency, and Wood Iron Grille helped sponsor games at holes to raise funds.

Kip Fennelly, Darren Heater, Jamie Mertz, and Charlie Long were the low score of the day, shooting 54 in the best shot tournament. This year, KNIA/KRLS raised approximately $1,500 for area food shelves.
