Now that the Twin Cedars Softball Squad is ranked at #13 in class 1A, the Sabers next job is to prove they belong in the rankings. The Sabers are 20-2 so far and sport their best record many seasons. Coach Zach Dunkin tells KRLS Sports being ranked is nice, but he is still stressing the basics fielding and throwing the runners out and having good at bats. The Sabers lost two games with Eddyville-Blakesburg due to rain. Dunkin says they have backloaded their schedule with class 2A and a few 3A teams to get ready for the regionals that start in a few weeks.
