The Pella Public Library is hosting a representative from a state program offering a communication solution to those who are deaf, hard of hearing, deaf-blind or to those who have difficulty speaking. The presentation by Relay Iowa on Wednesday at noon will show participants how they can see word-for-word what is said throughout a phone conversation by using a captioned telephone. The program is free, but registration is required by calling the Pella Public Library or signing up online at www.pellalibrary.libcal.com/calendar/main.The Relay Iowa program will be held in the Pella Library’s Meeting Room and light lunch snacks will be available.
