Tomorrow the Knoxville Public Library will host author Linda McCann as she talks about research for her new book, Prisoners of War in Iowa. McCann will discuss the POW camps in Iowa during World War Two, specifically the POW camps in Clarinda and Algona that were active from 1944 through 1946. The program will begin at 6 pm at the library’s temporary location at the old East Elementary building. Everyone is welcome to attend and no registration is necessary.
