The Indianola baseball and softball teams will both host the Mustangs and Fillies of Dallas Center-Grimes this evening at Indianola High School, with conference implications on the line. The Indians boys are a game back of Oskaloosa and a half game back of the Mustangs for first place in the Little Hawkeye Conference, and split their doubleheader with DCG earlier in the season. The Fillies have been the only team to take down the Indians softball team in conference play this season, and an Indianola win would put them in the driver’s seat to win another conference championship. The softball game can be heard live on 94.3 KNIA this evening, with pregame beginning at 7pm, and first pitch scheduled for 7:15pm. Andrew Swadner will be on the play-by-play.
