With the summer camping and grilling seasons under way, it’s a good time to learn new skills for cooking outdoors. The Pella Public Library will welcome Marlyn Hoksbergen, as she shares tips for preparing a variety of meals in a Dutch oven on Friday at 11:00 a.m. Marlyn has participated in Dutch oven cooking competitions and gatherings, and.has joined with other Dutch oven cooks to prepare meals for large groups, including veterans. She is looking forward to sharing samples of her desserts as well. The program is free and open to the public and will be held in the Pella Library Meeting Room.
